SKILLFLUENT LEARNING PROGRAMS
SkillFluent's volunteers create 2-4 week programs that are designed to engage students in a variety of topics. All of our volunteers are properly trained by our leadership team to create simple and engaging content.
LIST OF AVAILABLE PROGRAMS:
1. CAR BASICS PROGRAM
This program is designed for students who are currently in 10th grade to 12th grade, and it consists of an introduction about cars, the types of cars, purchasing a new car (including its benefits and drawbacks), purchasing a used car (including its benefits and drawbacks), the differences between a new and used car, the basics of car insurance and pricing, rental cars, leasing cars, negotiation with cars, car safety, car loans, and returning/selling a car.
2. MIDDLE TO HIGH SCHOOL PREPARATION PROGRAM
This program is designed for students who are approaching high school and would like to feel more prepared. It consists of learning about the different types of high school classes (on-level, AP, IB, dual-credit), study habits, understanding GPA + rank, and more!
3. ENGLISH FOR FOREIGN LEARNERS PROGRAM
This program is designed for students who are currently learning English and it introduces basic English learning skills, including spoken English and written English. In addition, there are several book and TV recommendations that students can view in order to increase their fluency in English.
